If you are a shopper in some of the bigger grocery stores, you
probably have seen a new section that offers gluten-free foods.
These food promise to help you lose weight, have more energy,
even stay healthier. If you are like me you have probably asked
that would be great, but it is true? Is this just the new diet
fad of the month?
Our next guest is a registered dietician and
has the answers for you. She will help us cut through all of the
confusion over cutting out gluten. We will talk about her book,
“Gluten-Free, Hassle Free: A Simple, Sane Dietician-Approved
Program for Eating Your Way Back to Health”.
She is
an International speaker, with over twenty five years culinary
experience and she has made numerous television appearances
which include 5 years on “International Healthy Cooking” for The
American Heart Association. She is a member of the Life TV
Professional Council. She has a graduate degree in nutrition and
a bachelor’s degree in marketing and has also studied at the
Culinary Institute of America. It is our honor to have as our
guest today, Marlissa Brown.
